It was such a delight to host our FIRST EVER Kids Party Camp!! This fabulous group of kiddos spent the week learning everything there is to know about planning the BEST parties!
From baking and planning to decor and etiquette, campers worked in teams to create every aspect of their party design, with a different theme each day.
On Day 1, everyone worked together to design a delicious Ice Cream Party and learned how to make a floral bouquet for their table centerpiece. Day 2 featured a Dance Party with elaborate tablescapes. Each team created a different look, right down to the style of napkin fold! We also made Black and White Cookies for a Black & White Party.
The highlight of Day 3 was enjoying the gorgeous weather outside to host an elegant Pink Garden Party in Riders Courtyard. Campers tested their skills with another table design challenge and lunched on pink pasta with a cupcake decorating competition. We finished Day 3 by making cheese crackers and cleaning up!
On the last day of Party Camp, campers arrived in their party best and were greeted by a beautiful, magical tea room! We finished making our cheese crackers and prepared additional treats to enjoy, including miniature layer cakes and tea sandwiches with Nutella and strawberries. Ms. Bethany shared about tea time etiquette and everyone enjoyed the most lovely conversations as we fanned and drank our tea with pinkies up!
To finish off the week of party planning fun, each camper made a charcuterie board to take home and share with their family. Then we gave out awards and prizes, and threw all the confetti we’d earned during camp for a great celebration to complete all our partying!!!
