The experienced team at Hewitt Oaks has been designing parties, events, and weddings for over 19 years. We’ve created intimate, private gatherings for a dozen guests, all the way up to one-of-a-kind, stunning events for thousands.
You can choose from a variety of indoor and outdoor locations, and plenty of picturesque spots for photos and special memories to be made.
At the heart of Hewitt Oaks is Gracie Ballroom, with a dramatic vaulted ceiling, balcony, and grand fireplace. Right outside is Riders Courtyard, perfect for a cocktail hour or dancing under the stars, with sweeping views of the rest of the property.
If you wander into the trees beyond Riders Courtyard, you’ll find yourself under the Angel Oak Canopy, surrounded by the graceful branches of centuries-old live oak trees. Huling Hall provides a unique location for a dinner party or meeting, with Cardinal Courtyard offering stunning views of the whole property. Hewitt Oaks also offers a charming overnight stay for up to 4 people in Connaughton Cottage.

When you choose Hewitt Oaks, you get a personal Event Planner who will be your point of contact throughout the entire planning process. Your Planner will provide expertise and tailor suggestions for your style and budget to create an unforgettable event.
Food brings people together, and a delicious meal has always been at the center of any Southern social gathering. Our sister company, Southern Graces, prepares all food served at Hewitt Oaks on-site. Your guests will enjoy world-class cuisine featuring locally sourced vegetables, fruits, meats, and cheeses from our farm partners.

Executive Chef Christopher Hewitt brings extraordinary talent and experience, including working with Bobby Flay for 12 years and competing on Iron Chef. Chef Hewitt and the artisan catering team from Southern Graces will ensure that all cuisine is customized to your preferences and the style of your event.
Southern Graces, our exclusive catering partner, offers a variety of contemporary and traditional menu choices for either seated or stationed meals, along with passed hors d’oeuvres, charcuterie, dessert bars, cakes and more. Beverage service is provided, and we love to design signature event cocktails.
Bringing your vision to life with trend-setting design and styling is second nature to us. Our extensive design collection includes premium lighting, fabrics, furnishings, and decor to accentuate your event theme. You’ll have your choice from a curated inventory of furniture, linens, fine china, silverware, and décor. If we don’t have exactly what you’re looking for, we’ll track it down.
Hewitt Oaks in-house floral artists will craft your custom centerpieces, bouquets, and floral installations. Each piece is created using gorgeous seasonal flowers suited to the theme and color palette of your event. Our combinations of greenery, different textures, and varying sizes of blooms form multi-dimensional works of art that will catch the eye of every guest and make your event truly shine.
Are we the right fit?
All-Inclusive Event Packages
Since each event at Hewitt Oaks is customized and unique, we don’t have a fixed package rate, but we can provide you with a starting point. A Hewitt Oaks event includes:
- Your choice of event location(s)
- Professional Event Planner
- Catering & beverage service
- Furniture, linens, china, utensils, & glassware
- Design, styling & florals
- Venue amenities (such as climate control, lighting, Wi-Fi, on-site parking, golf cart transport)
- A Tuesday or Wednesday daytime corporate meeting begins at $1,000.
- A weekend dinner, depending upon the season, starts at $10,000.
- Galas and fundraisers, begin in the range of $10,000-30,000 for up to 350 guests.
- A high-end private party with a four-course plated meal for hundreds on a Saturday night might have a budget of $150,000.
- Music and entertainment
- Specialized lighting, sound & event production
- Purchase of alcohol
- Invitations, programs, and other stationery
Can you send me a list of your packages?
One of the things we pride ourselves on is being a venue that customizes every aspect of your event. From the style and design to the food you serve your guests, each proposal that we create is specific to the client. We’re committed to designing premier events, not being a “cookie cutter” venue. We do offer some packages that represent our most popular items for smaller events in smaller budgets, including Holiday Events and Teatime Experiences. Even with our packages, no two events are the same. Our desire is to produce work that not only makes you swoon, but also represents our reputation for exceptional event experiences!
Do you require a minimum spend to reserve a date?
Yes, high season Fridays require a minimum spend of $25,000 and Saturdays $35,000 and up, prior to a 22% service charge and 8% tax. Any weekday has a minimum spend of $10,000. Low season dates (January, February, July and August) have lower minimums. The exception to these minimums are our Holiday Events and Teatime Packages, which have booking limitations and restrictions.
Do you allow outside vendors?
We welcome our clients to bring the photographer/videographer and band/DJ of their choice, but we do require the use of the services that we offer:
- Catering (food and beverages)
We do not rent any part of Hewitt Oaks as a location-only venue.
