The experienced team at Hewitt Oaks has been designing parties, events, and weddings for over 18 years. We’ve created intimate, private gatherings for a dozen guests, all the way up to one-of-a-kind, stunning events for thousands.

Event Locations

You can choose from a variety of indoor and outdoor locations, and plenty of picturesque spots for photos and special memories to be made.

At the heart of Hewitt Oaks is Gracie Hall, with a dramatic vaulted ceiling, balcony, and grand fireplace. Right outside is Rider’s Courtyard, perfect for a cocktail hour or dancing under the stars, with sweeping views of the rest of the property.

If you wander into the trees beyond Rider’s Courtyard, you’ll find yourself under the Angel Oak Canopy, surrounded by the graceful branches of centuries-old live oak trees. Huling Stables provides a unique location for a dinner party or meeting. Hewitt Oaks also offers overnight capacity for up to 20 people, including Connaughton Cottage and our cozy bunk room in Gracie Hall.

When you choose Hewitt Oaks, you get a personal Event Planner who will your point of contact throughout the entire planning process. Your Planner will provide expertise and tailor suggestions for your style and budget to create an unforgettable event.

Fabulous Food

Food brings people together, and a delicious meal has always been at the center of any Southern social gathering. Our sister company, Southern Graces, prepares all food served at Hewitt Oaks on-site. Your guests will enjoy world-class cuisine featuring locally sourced vegetables, fruits, meats, and cheeses from our farm partners.

Executive Chef Christopher Hewitt brings extraordinary talent and experience, including working with Bobby Flay for 12 years and competing on Iron Chef. Chef Hewitt and the artisan catering team from Southern Graces will ensure that all cuisine is customized to your preferences and the style of your event.

Catering Menu

Southern Graces, our exclusive catering partner, offers a variety of contemporary and traditional menu choices for either seated or stationed meals, along with passed hors d’oeuvres, charcuterie, dessert bars, cakes and more. Beverage service is provided, and we love to design signature event cocktails.

Delightful Design

Bringing your vision to life with trend-setting design and styling is second nature to us. Our sister company, Southern Graces, provides premium lighting, fabrics, furnishings, and decor to accentuate your event theme. You’ll have your choice from a curated collection of furniture, linens, fine china, silverware, and décor. If we don’t have exactly what you’re looking for, we’ll track it down.

Flawless Florals

Hewitt Oaks in-house floral artists will craft your custom centerpieces, bouquets, and floral installations. Each piece is created using gorgeous seasonal flowers suited to the theme and color palette of your event. Our combinations of greenery, different textures, and varying sizes of blooms form multi-dimensional works of art that will catch the eye of every guest and make your event truly shine.

All-Inclusive Event Packages

Since each event at Hewitt Oaks is customized and unique, we don’t have a fixed package rate, but we can provide you with a starting point. A Hewitt Oaks event includes:
  • Your choice of event location(s)
  • Professional Event Planner
  • Catering & beverage service
  • Furniture, linens, china, utensils, & glassware
  • Design, styling & florals
  • Venue amenities (such as climate control, lighting, Wi-Fi, on-site parking, golf cart transport)

Hewitt Oaks is well-suited for a wide variety of events. Here’s a few examples of how the pricing might vary depending on day of the week, guest count, and choice of services:

  • A weekday corporate meeting starts at $1,000 for 40 people.
  • A Tuesday night dinner for 40 guests typically starts at $1,500.
  • Galas and fundraisers, begin in the range of $10,000-30,000 for up to 350 guests.
  • A high-end private party with a four-course plated meal for hundreds on a Saturday night might have a budget of $100,000.

There’s no limit to the possibilities! Our event production partner, Southern Graces, has created stunning, one-of-a-kind events for clients like Porsche and the CMT Music Awards. If you can dream it, we can make it happen!

There are some services we don’t include in our packages so that you can use your preferred vendors (or in the case of alcohol to allow for significant cost/tax savings). However, we’re happy to provide you with a list of recommended providers or you can opt for full-service planning to have your Event Planner coordinate these services for you:

  • Music and entertainment
  • Specialized lighting, sound & event production
  • Purchase of alcohol
  • Invitations, programs, and other stationery
